The Vulnerable Population Outreach (VPO) program is a New Jersey grant-funded initiative overseen by the Atlantic City Health Department and directed by Island Medical Associates of Atlantic County.
The VPO program focuses on identifying the underserved population of Atlantic City who's health needs have not been met during the Covid-19 pandemic. Once identified, the initiative is then tasked with direct outreach to the identified portion of the community to help "bridge the gap" between the individuals and much needed health assistance to include testing, vaccinating and contact tracing.
We operate and serve within the city limits of Atlantic City, NJ.
VPO services are available daily, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.
New Jersey has recognized that the various needs for Covid-19 related assistance for its residents has not been met consistently across all demographics. Through the VPO program, the goal is to help offset that inconsistency by directly assisting the at-risk populations across the state of New Jersey.
Our team can help connect you with various Covid-19 related services to you free of charge. Simply contact us directly via telephone or email us through our "contact" page and we will reach out to you immediately to help discuss possible services that are available to you.
The Vulnerable Population Outreach Coordinator (VPOC) of Atlantic City will periodically speak live during Pastor Days' weekly zoom meetings to explain the VPO program more in depth and how it may serve the local community.
